MCATalyst P/S Anki Deck

  • Simple definitions: Most definitions are kept to one sentence or less.

  • Examples and explanations: Nearly every card includes an example, image, or “in other words” explanation to help concepts stick.

  • No cloze deletions: Every card uses a straightforward front-and-back format.

  • Organized by the updated AAMC Content Outline: Sections are structured around the topics the AAMC currently expects students to know.

  • Focused on MCAT-relevant content: Removed many overly detailed anatomical, evolutionary, redundant, and B/B-focused terms.

  • Expanded coverage: Added newer terms and additional content in areas such as development and sociology.

  • Clear comparisons: Many cards specifically explain the differences between commonly confused concepts, such as prejudice, stereotypes, and discrimination.

  • Built from many resources: Pankow, Aidan, Khan, AAMC Outline, etc. Everything was put together, refined, definitions and examples written from scratch, and put into the document and deck!

Last Updated: Aug 18- updated deck to fix formatting errors where some cards were showing up blank and fixed poor wording or typos on several cards (Preventative Checks, Mortality Rate, Relative Poverty, amongst a few others)
