What’s in the MCATalyst Content Workshop?
Curious of what other students have said about us?
“Best way to learn Psych/Soc. The way the course is organized is a masterpiece in pedagogy, setting a clear path to learn all the material for the section.”
“I am SO glad I found this course. After taking the GRE, I pivoted to MCAT to beef up my AA application. I graduated college 5+ years ago and high school 10+ years ago, so I was basically learning everything from scratch.
When I first started studying for MCAT, I immediately tried to find a program similar to GregMat (GRE course), but was unsuccessful, as everyone recommended AAMC, JW, UWorld etc... . The problem has been that I do not learn that way, and all the material I needed to review felt overwhelming and like something I wouldn’t be able to accomplish.
I love the structure of the lessons so far, and you can tell the creator genuinely wants to help us. The price point is a huge plus, as not everyone can afford hundreds and thousands of dollars in exam prep. Even the recommended tutors are reasonably priced. I will definitely use this program for the rest of my journey, and I’m so glad to have found it whilst scrolling through reddit.”

How is the course designed?
Each topic involves 5 main steps! Pick and choose which methods of learning work best for you!
-
In order to ensure you know exactly what is going to show up, as well as how far in depth you need to go on each topic, you’ll read through the MCATalyst Content Depth Guide, which will explain exactly what you need to know for the exam, nothing more, nothing less.
Not sure how confident you are in the MCAT-relevant content? Scan our textbook to gauge how much work you need to do!
This portion of the course is entirely free for all subjects.
-
You’ll begin your studying of a subject by watching a linked YouTube that we’ve hand-picked to be a fantastic representation of the information you’re expected to know on the MCAT. Sit back, listen, and take notes over whatever feels important!
-
One of the most important parts of ensuring you know the relevant information for the MCAT is practicing! The paid version of the course comes with dozens of questions for each individual topic, hundreds of questions for each subject, and will eventually have thousands of questions overall across all subjects.
These questions are designed to ensure that you know not only the “what”, but the “why”. If you know the reasoning behind the content, it will be significantly easier to memorize.
-
Anki is best used as a tool for memorization, not learning, which is why the course is structured as so. By directing you to which decks to review after practice and learning the information, you can begin memorizing the content that you’re learning as you go.
This portion of the course is entirely free.
-
I’ve long thought that the best way to ensure that you understand information is to be able to teach it back to someone. We’ve added an open-ended question form with solutions that allows you to think through and explain the more difficult concepts on the exam in your own words.
These forms come with the correct answers so you can see where your knowledge falls short and where you’re all set!

Subjects are divided as follows: Biochemistry, Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Physics.
Psychology and Sociology are also planned if people like the course. I will also be adding a Crash Course for all Math you’ll see on the MCAT as well, but I’m not sure where that will fit in to the courses.
Only need help with understanding Biochemistry? Not a problem! Just sign up for the Biochemistry course.

-
Instead of simply just showing you a video and moving on with our lives, each aspect of content involves several different ways in which you can learn, memorize, or integrate the information.
-
We’ve hand-picked the best YouTube videos, Anki decks, and other resources and put them all into one place alongside practice and other learning resources to make finding content relevant to the MCAT significantly easier.
-
Created to mostly mimic the SIRS1 style of AAMC Practice Problems, we’ve provided hundreds of practice problems for each subject for you to master the MCAT relevant content.
As an example, the Biochemistry course contains 422 content-driven practice problems!
