A new style of self-paced MCAT prep course.

Introducing: MCATalyst Content Workshop

Tired of paying thousands for entire courses? Find out how the MCATalyst Content Workshop is a significant change of pace.

  • Subjects are divided as follows: Biochemistry, Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Physics.

Only need help with understanding Biochemistry? Not a problem! Just sign up for the Biochemistry course.

Want to sign up for them all? Get a package discount when you sign up for all 5 courses at once!

  • This course is designed to combine a ton of resources into one to make your MCAT learning phases significantly easier, while being significantly more affordable. Done studying? Cancel at any time!

Not sure if you’ll like the course? Each course comes with a 5 day free trial!

  • Instead of simply just showing you a video and moving on with our lives, each aspect of content involves several different ways in which you can learn, memorize, or integrate the information.

  • We’ve hand-picked the best YouTube videos, Anki decks, and other resources and put them all into one place alongside practice and other learning resources to make finding content relevant to the MCAT significantly easier.

How is the course designed?

Each topic involves 5 main steps! The steps that are entirely free and don’t require a subscription are identified in the descriptions.

  • You’ll begin your studying of a subject by watching a linked YouTube that we’ve hand-picked to be a fantastic representation of the information you’re expected to know on the MCAT. Sit back, listen, and take notes over whatever feels important!

  • Next, in order to ensure you know exactly what is going to show up, as well as how far in depth you need to go on each topic, you’ll read through the MCATalyst Content Depth Guide, which will explain exactly what you need to know for the exam, nothing more, nothing less.

This portion of the course is entirely free.

  • One of the most important parts of ensuring you know the relevant information for the MCAT is practicing! The paid version of the course comes with dozens of questions for each individual topic, hundreds of questions for each subject, and will eventually have thousands of questions overall across all subjects.

These questions are designed to ensure that you know not only the “what”, but the “why”. If you know the reasoning behind the content, it will be significantly easier to memorize.

  • Anki is best used as a tool for memorization, not learning, which is why the course is structured as so. By directing you to which decks to review after practice and learning the information, you can begin memorizing the content that you’re learning as you go.

This portion of the course is entirely free.

  • I’ve long thought that the best way to ensure that you understand information is to be able to teach it back to someone. We’ve added an open-ended question form with solutions that allows you to think through and explain the more difficult concepts on the exam in your own words.

These forms come with the correct answers so you can see where your knowledge falls short and where you’re all set!

  • In addition to the 5 tiered structure to learn and study the information for the exam, we’ve also picked through the questions freely available in Khan Academy and the AAMC materials (via the Content Outline) to provide even more free practice.

This portion of the course is entirely free.

Want to try it out?

Since the course is currently a work in progress (I’m still calling this the Alpha stage of development), with the Biochemistry course set to fully release by the end of November, please sign up for updates to know when we’ve launched!

The Biochemistry Course is currently in its Alpha trial! I’m still tweaking things, adjusting the course, and adding all of the relevant content and quizzes, but feel free to peruse the course as I’m making changes!
